Frontpage and Other Editors

Your free website provider doesn't allow Frontpage? Simply add .html to the file when you save something or an l to a link. Or, click on my computer, and go to the file that you want to download to your site, right click on it, and click rename. Then rename it so the extension is .html. Sometimes when you create a link, and someone else clicks on it, it will say 'file not found' or 'we could not find the file, so open the file in Frontpage with the link and edit the hyperlink in menu Edit and item hyperlink and make it so the extension is in .html.

Excersise: Try this simple excersise to see what I am talking about. Open Frontpage and type 'Test Link'. Highlight it and click the menu item Insert and then click hyperlink. Click New Page and enter the page title. Then enter the page URL. Say you named your page 'pics', then on the URL you will see 'pics.htm'. Just inset an l so it would look like 'pics.html'. Then when you save the new page (click save as, not save), save it as pics.html, but remember to put an l. Then upload the two pages to your site and test it. Just delete them after.
